The 2025/2026 planting season arrived amidst dynamic and unpredictable weather patterns. Yet, within the ever-moving rhythm of nature, we never stop planting hope. Every seedling we prepare alongside farmers is a tangible expression of our commitment to restoring land and cultivating a more sustainable future.
In Indonesia, this period was marked by higher-than-average rainfall, but with unusual intervals. Whereas rains typically begin soaking the soil in October, this year they started in November. This shift in cycles demanded significant strategic adjustments in the field, especially as rainfall intensity increased sharply from late 2025 and peaked in early 2026.
Despite these challenges, with your support and trust, we successfully distributed 108,073 seedlings to partner farmers during the 2025/2026 planting season, covering a total land area of 130 hectares. These thousands of seedlings comprise various commodities tailored to farmers’ preferences, such as jengkol, petai, mango, sengon, cempedak, durian, and the local fruit paken. This figure is not merely a distribution statistic; it represents a collective effort, the resilience of farmers, and the spirit of cooperation for one noble goal: to realize healthy forests as a climate solution for the sake of future generations.
