Palangka Raya, [28/11] – Good Forest Indonesia Foundation (GFI) took part in the 2025 Land Rehabilitation Coordination Meeting organized by the Forestry Agency of Central Kalimantan Province on Thursday–Friday (27–28/11) in Palangka Raya.
During the meeting, GFI’s Director, Fadhillah Hanum, presented the Community Empowerment Model for Land Rehabilitation (RHL) in Gunung Mas Regency. The presentation highlighted GFI’s role as a development partner in strengthening coordination for land rehabilitation and restoring ecological functions in collaboration with the government and various stakeholders.
The coordination meeting was held as part of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government’s efforts to enhance the protection and restoration of forest landscapes. The forum brought together multiple technical institutions, government bodies, and NGOs to align strategies for effective landscape rehabilitation.
GFI’s participation underscores its commitment to fostering stronger coordination with the Forestry Agency and all stakeholders involved in RHL initiatives. The meeting also provided an opportunity for GFI to ensure that its field insights and data contribute meaningfully to aligning with government programs.
Through solid collaboration, efforts to restore ecosystems in Central Kalimantan are expected to continue progressing as a collective endeavor, delivering long-term benefits for environmental sustainability and community well-being.
